Printing Nortel PBX Software Level

Overview

Nortel has released many different revisions of software over the years. In order to determine what version software is being run on a PBX, it must be printed out in overlay 22.

PBX Programming Examples

Example 1:

To print only the minimal software information:

1. Log into the PBX
2. Load Overlay 22
3. Execute the ISS command

Sample of PBX I/O:

>LD 22
PT2000 

REQ  ISS

CALL SERVER/MAIN CAB 
VERSION 2121 
RELEASE 4 
ISSUE 00 T  + 
IDLE_SET_DISPLAY NORTEL

Example 2:

To also print a list of in-service patches, execute the ISSP command in place of ISS:

1. Log into the PBX
2. Load Overlay 22
3. Execute the ISSP command
