Printing Current System Limits (Keycodes)

Overview

The Nortel PBX software has System Limits (SLT), otherwise known as Incremental Software Management (ISM), are the quantities of applications that the software is allowed to run. These limits are generated by keycodes.

Common System Limits

When engineering a PBX system, there are common system limits that need to be considered:

• Analogue Telephones
• Digital Telephones
• Traditional Trunks
• TNs

While these are the most common limits, others may be necessary to a PBX, depending on the applications it will be handling.

If any of these limits are reached, new keycodes will need to be purchased from Nortel.

PBX Programming Examples

Example 1:

• Log into the PBX
• Load overlay 22
• Execute the SLT command
