Overview

Speed Call Lists allow telephones to dial a predefined list of numbers with a short code for each entry in the list.

PBX Programming Procedures

Create a New Speed Call List

Use this procedure to create a new Speed Call List.

  1. Log Into the PBX
  2. Load Overlay 18
  3. Execute the "NEW" command
  4. Respond with SCL as the TYPE of information to be entered
  5. Enter a numeric response to LSNO: (0-8190) (This is the list identifier)
  6. TOLS: (skip this) To list (new speed call list number)
  7. NCOS: (0)-99 – 0 is the default. Speed calls override the telephones NCOS You should change to match the telephone's NCOS
  8. DNSZ: 4-(16)-31 – This is the maximum amount of Digits allowed for each Speed call list.
  9. SIZE: 1-1000 - Maximum Telephone #’s allowed per List
  10. WRT (YES) NO – This tells the PBX to back it up in the “Data Store”
  11. STOR xxx yyy…y - xxx- the position in the list Yyy-yyyy is the telephone number-*Remember to program a “9” if you use it to dial out with. Ex. 01 9,1-800-555-1212
  12. WRT (YES) NO - This tells the PBX to back it up in the “Data Store”

Print Existing Speed Call List(s)

Use this procedure to print an existing Speed Call List.

  1. Log Into the PBX
  2. Load Overlay 20
  3. Execute the PRT command
  4. Respond with SCL as the TYPE of information to be printed
  5. Respond with the List Number (LSNO) or enter a carriage return for all Speed Call Lists

Notes

While Speed Call Lists are created and edited in overlay 18, they are printed in overlay 20.
