FORC

The FORC command is used to force a user at another terminal to log off.

Who can use FORC

  • A user logged in with the Level Two password.
  • A LAPW configured with FORCA.

How to Execute the FORC command

The FORC command is executed directly from Overlay Loader, when the user does not have an overlay loaded. (Meaning, the command is executed directly from the ">" prompt.)

Example PBX I/O:

>who
PORT ID  OVERLAY  NAME       SPRT  MONITOR
  TTY  2      20   JERRY
  TTY 14      0    ADMIN2  <--Logged in as ADMIN2          
>FORC 2   <--Forced TTY 2 to log off
