| | ViewsBARSFrom PBX WikiBARS stands for Basic Alternate Route Selection.
[edit] Access CodesBARS is accessed by dialing a one- or two-digit access code (AC1), as defined in the ESN datablock, followed by the desired number. [edit] Network TranslationsThis section contains information that most likely should have its own page.
Once the user has accessed BARS by dialing the access code, Network Translations will be reviewed to find a match to the dialed number. [edit] Route ListsOnce BARS finds a match to the number, it will look at the assigned Route List, if an assignment exists, to check the caller's access level with the required access level of each Route in the list. Once a match is made, the call will be placed. If a match cannot be made for any reason, then the caller will receive a reorder tone. [edit] References
