**** (pronounced 'Four Stars') is the command to exit from the Overlay Loader.

Alternative Method

Alternatively, while certain overlays are loaded, the command 'END' may be sent to exit to the system prompt. Usually 'END' may only be used once the TTY has stopped outputting data, while four stars may be used to interrupt the output and exit immediately.
