Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Vonexsus ia a off shoot of Interactive Intelligence which has a call center IP solution. The Vonexus system runs of a MS Windows server and integrates with a Microsoft backend. They support SIP phones like the Polycom IP phones. In summary, bad choice running call processing on windows as well using SIP phones with limited features. It may integrate well with your Outlook and LDAP server, but it still is running your call processing over a windows server (yikes!). Ken

Pretty cool stuff Bry Sorry, supports 1500 users. Last edited by bberry : 01-28-2007 at 06:14 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Better product than anything i have seen I have avaya, nortel, cisco and vonexus certs... by comparison vonexus is the most feature rich. implemented about 15 deployments, ranging from 50 - 5200 phones, multi branches and so on. It does not run on a skinny windows. Runs on full windows server that alike of cisco. It is quite scalable. Works nicely with LCS, exchange and all softphones and hardphones. It is running at microsoft. When microsoft put out an rfp for their phone system, all the big players showed up including Interactive intelligence. The product beat out the big companies hands down with just one of their features. So i would definitely not count these guys out.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Vonexus is a part of Interactive Inteligence Inc, and it's product for Enterpirse Users. It's based on Ms platform, and even Microsoft use it for Corporate IP Telephony. Their full Contact Center solution is Customer Interaction Center (CIC), latest version 2.4. Very good product, specially for SIP

Location: Atlanta, GA Rep Power: 0 ![]() | My previous employer is a Vonexus reseller and I installed several systems before I left to get back into software development. There are some glitches, but their support team is willing to work with you on a much more personal level than ANY other vendor on the market. Nothing even comes close to touching the features on this system. The few systems I installed were chosen based on the Call Center, Call Recording, and End-User Administration features which blew the Cisco product out of the water. I think that it will become a major player in the market very soon. The only thing they lack is name recognition, but being a subsidiary of Interactive Intelligence doesn't hurt. While many of you may not know the name, I3 has been selling HUGE call center systems to big companies for years. My only real problem with the Vonexus product is how strongly they push the Polycom IP phones. In my opinion they're crap. One install had severe echo problems with the Polycoms and upon switching to Cisco phones (not supported directly and not easy to figure out) the echo problems were totally gone. All things considered I really like this system. As amir mentioned, it runs on a full blown Windows 2003 Server platform. It requires a ton of horsepower, especially if you're recording all your calls and/or using a lot of ACD features.

EIC and CIC can't really be compared, because although they're developed by many of the same engineers and share a lot of common code, they're still very different. Just wanted to clear up any confusion that may be caused...I know the whole EIC vs. CIC thing blew my mind when I first began dealing with Vonexus/I3.
