Hi all,
I am trying to instal a PABX system in my office and have some problems with my VOIP BOX. Hope some of you can help. What I have is a PANASONIC KX-TES824 PABX BOX with 3 COs and 8 Extensions. At the moment, we are using VOIP BOX (2 FXS port and 2 FXO port) from ActivHub with DSL 256 KB connection and 2 VOIP lines. What I have in mind is, one PSTN line and 2 VOIP lines for the 3 CO, the PSTN line works fine, the problem is with the VOIP lines. I have connect a cable (4 wires) from the CO jack to the FXS port of the VOIP BOX, and I am getting a dial tone. The problem is, everytime I dial a number, any number, it seems that I always get a busy tone, (I practically know next to nothing about PABX or things like that, and know next to nothing about VOIP too and I just started my job 3 months ago, so don't know if I need to program the VOIP BOX about gatekeeper or things like that, but isn't the VOIP BOX an 'out of the box' solution ? I mean, we don't have to do anything more than plug it in

. And about the FXO port, I am assuming I don't have to do anything with those port ? Anyway, hope you guys can shine some lights. Thanks.
Bill
