| Hi to all, I was wondering if there was a way to integrate asterisk with a ericsson pbx , leaving untouched the actual phone system . We have a PRI with 15 channels and we would like to implement some features asterisk has and our pbx does not have . Thanks for any suggestions ,  | ||||||||

| Admin  | Help on Talk Path Voicemail You could run a test bed using Asterisk, maybe deploy some IP phones to certain users with Asterisk, order a few analog trunks to start off to support your users. Roll out Soft Clients to a control set of test users as well. You may find Asterisk does everything you need and eventually just migrate over to it. Running it in tandem would be great. I don't know if you could network the two together to have 4 digit dialing between the two.
