Talked to SD a little bit and it would seem we both have similar information. We are still working on ours but it looks like it will just be a list of equipment and the types of tests we will do on them to ensure everything works.

Network acceptance is a different story. We are doing a massive network reddiness(sp) upgrade to ensure we have the correct core / terminiation site POE switches in place, cabling, UPS, switch programming for V-Lan/QOS, etc... to ensure the sites will work properly for the platform. The vendor will then do a test from end to end at the sites to pass/fail for implementation.

Network certification is becoming a Technologies unto itself. There are now several Companies that will do network certification for VOIP. Without a proper network VOIP will continue to get a bad rap.

That is so true. Our vendor will be doing network verification testing at a minimum of every 6 months through out the deployment just to ensure they can deliver the service they say they will on the telephone side.
