Need help Choosing

Im local in virginia and we install telecommunication systems in virginia, Maryland and DC. We currently are looking into a Voip sytstem to install and maintain. We dont know which one(s) will be the best for us to work on. Which ones are inexpensive, and easy to maintain? Initial investment costs and quotas are also in consideration. We currently install about 1-2 a month. please let me know if you have any ideas.

Who are your customers? What features do they generally look for?

Personally I would look into Asterisk and SIPX installations. Opensource systems are very comparable to other systems. They are less expensive and work great when set up properly.

Also what experience do you have in data networking. You may have a great product but if your customer doesn't have a good network, the product will seem like it doesn't work well.

If you are scared about the learning curve with Asterisk you should look at switchvox- This solution is solid and extremely well formed

It runs Asterisk
