Gadgets We usually do most of our mobile-based browsing out of necessity, since the convenience of looking up a few bits of news is quickly lost when you're across the living room from a full PC. We'd especially be wary of doing such home-based wireless browsing on a 128x128 screen, but if that's your thing RTX's new LAN Cordless DualPhone might be for you. It's tied to a base station, so don't think you'll be making WiFi calls on the run, but the SIP phone can check email, stocks, weather, and all that jazz on its small color screen. The base station connects over a standard landline, and the system is being targeted at traditional phone companies in Europe to work with their VoIP efforts. [Via TRFJ] ============= I guess it's lighter then having your laptop on your lap at home. __________________ -=Welcome to PBXInfo=- -Become a PBXInfo Supporter -Get more PM Space, Profile Picture, a Signature -Add yourself to Pbxinfo's Frappr -Find Nortel Software | ||||||||
