Cool Vodavi forum group on here?

First let me say!! This is the most efficent and well planned forum resource site I have found to date!! We will be using it quite frequently I think. Thanks for making this available!!

HOWEVER.....you know there is always a HOWEVER.....!! Is there a specific forum group for just Vodavi needs and questions? Either on this site, or elsewhere. I am new here and would like to get to the right place without spending too much time trying to find where I should be. It would be nice to have a one click link to Vodavi like I see with the other phone system brands. We are primarly a Vodavi dealer, and I have a group of technicians that from time to time find things unique in the field and we would love to have a forum to go for help about, because we seem to be "The Only Ones This Problem Is Happening To" as Vodavi's tech support puts it!!

Don't get me wrong, Vodavi is a great product, it is our main product line for a reason. We just would like to get into a more "Hands On" feedback group to share issues, findings, and questions with. We are an installing "Specialists Group" and we specialize in Vodavi, Avaya, NEC, Tadiran & Panasonic if anyone ever needs something or help on those, we are happy to help out. Just seems finding Vodavi and come to think of it, a Tadiran group is hard to find. Thanks for any guidance or help with this!!

Thanks,
ThePhoneLady!!

Vodavi was at one time in a forum by itself. There were very few posts so admin placed it in this multi system forum. I like the Vodavi systems myself and have installed them since the late 80's. We still have several of the older systems in operation, and 1 large hospital with a bunch of 96ex's for different depts instead of a larger pbx expansion.

Cool

Thanks for the answer back. I have been working with RixRide and do believe we can get the Vodavi forum back up. Just made 3 phone calls to Vodavi supporters in my area and so far have 2, maybe 3 willing to actively participate here when we do get a Vodavi Forum back up. Please keep checking back here and I look forward to getting this up and running for us all who do like and want a place for Vodavi related concerns to be discussed.

Thumbs up

I know that in our little corner of the world there are alot of the Vodavi systems out there. It seems like every ma & pa interconnect would sell them. We have sold a boatload of the STS systems since they came out ourselves. We even have 1 set up with a pri and DID. I did not do that particular install, but from what I saw of the programming, it is just like all the other Vodavi stuff.

In our area Vodavi is quite popular. In fact I think they are gaining ground and rank very nicely these past few years. I can think of a few other mfg's that have in fact gone in the other direction quite drastically too these past few years. Oh well, will keep plugging away with the Vodavi as best as we can!!

Thanks for you input!!

Will not call names, but I too have seen other manufactureres headed the wrong way, with dire consequences for their actions. Most whom have been in the "biz" for a while know of whom I speak.
