Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Rolm 9200 Help Our Toshiba Strata XXe has been holding up well for many years, but suddenly it is losing the correct time/date which is displayed on the phones. We set the time/date, and a few days later it defaults again. Any ideas? I don't want to call a dealer and turn this into a $2000 repair. Is there a battery on the CPU card? Or is it something more serious?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | To answer your question- Yes there is a battery on the CPU. It is soldiered in. You could probably find one at rat shack and replace. You will lose all programmed data. It sounds as if you have a bad battery. Wouldn't hurt to try and replace.
