Location: Minnesota Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ***ICS Top-Gate VoIP Gateway*** Current Setup: Asterisk PBX, 1x digium 1x port FXS card. (All 4 Digit Extensions) - 1x Polycom 500 voip phone - 1x aAstra 9133a voip phone Toshiba Perception Ex PBX (Legacy System, All 3 Digit Extensions) -Mix of analog, digital and electronic cards. Along with a couple CO cards that we don't even use. We have both voip phones registered under the asterisk box and everything on the asterisk side works fine. We also have a line running from the FXS port on the asterisk box to a port on a analog line in our Toshiba. We have a routing rule in the asterisk box that says anything that is a 3 digit number will use the FXS channel. So if you dial 333 on a voip phone it will actually ring extension 333 on the Toshiba PBX. Now here is the part where we are stuck. We want to be able to either A. Dial the 4 digit extension on the Toshiba PBX and have it ring the 4 digit extension on the asterisk PBX. (EX, Dial 3333) or B. Dial an access number then the 4 digit extension on the Toshiba PBX and have to ring the 4 digit extension on the asterisk PBX. (EX. Dial 8,3333) We are not exactly sure how to do this. If we call the extension with have setup in the Toshiba to handle the incoming calls from the asterisk box it acts like an incoming POTS line, we want it to act like a regular phone extension. Any help?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | In order to do what your looking for you will need tie trunks, the NEMU card, or a T1 with e&M signalling, or if you want 3333 to ring 3333 on the Perception you would have to make that a private trunk, basically a private line for each OPX Hope that helps, will be a bit of programming phnman
