My company just installed a used DK280 Release 2 into a NON-Profit School. I renumbered the phones starting at 301 and up using program 04. The operator is the 301 at port #000. When I intercom "0" zero it says "0 VACANT".

Any Ideas?

There is no 0 by default in the 280. You will need to set a PhDN (we usually use 500) to 0 in *04. You will also need to assign it to port 000 and make it ring to port 000 in *71

release 2 don't have PhDn. Why not change the operator to 0 or leave the operator as 301
