Nortel to Mitel in 2 weeks

Hi, my laptop Toshiba 1805 goes to sleep on me. I am trying to run a Power Point Presentation on automatic and the laptop, after 5 minutes shuts down ! I have gone to control panel and power manager but the time part is not active. I can not change it from the 5 minutes.
Anyone have any ideas how to disable this feature ?
Thanks WP Steve

ok, this is a telephone system support web site, but I will try to help.
Have you checked your screen saver settings?

Go into the control panel and you will find a toshiba utility's program. You can make the adjustments here. I had the same problem.
