how to program 'call forward no answer' on a flexible button

Hi,

I'm at a loss on how to make a 'call forward no answer' flexible button work on a receptionist phone.

When pressed the LED flashes but calls still come thru instead of being diverted to the extension's VM box without making the phone ring.

Strange enough on any phone, #601 & 602 work for CF when used but #603 & 604 do not give out a dial tone after the destination ext. is entered. The only alternative I have to change all 4 options is through DK-Admin's "Call Forward Settings" program. What could be the cause?

cheers,

Peter

I'm in the UK, so software may be slightly different - also, you don't mention the system type, so i'll assume it's a DK280...
The reason the 601 code works is because it is a Call Forward All Calls, therefore there is no 'timer' required.
When entering 604 (forgive my lack of 'hash', but i can't find it... wrong type of keyboard!) the system needs two separate parameters.
These are the Destination Number and the No Answer timer.
i.e. SPKR, HASH, 601, DESTINATION NUMBER, SPKR
will call forward all calls.
Where as...
SPKR, HASH, 604, DESTINATION NUMBER, SPEED DIAL, DELAY IN SECS (12 is usual), REDIAL
is required to set a Call Forward if Busy or Not Answered after 12 secs
