| Junior Member | Toshiba DK 40 I really need some help. We recently moved our office, I have 5 lines running from the DK 40. I have tried to hook up a common answering machine through any of the phones, and it will not work. It worked fine at the last office. I also have a small CD Player which I am trying to hook up to the Toshiba to play our hold music, and can't find where to plug it in. Somebody please help me! Thanks, |

| Moderator  | For the music on hold you will have to open the cover. there should be an RCA connector in it. I actually beleive there are two connectors. One for paging and the other for MOH. You will not be able to connect the Answering machine to a digital line. you will have to connect the machine to the lines that are coming from the Telco. Mor than likely you will have to find the main number before it goes into the system and TAP into it. that should get it working for you. |
