Toshiba DK280 PBX Voicemail Problems with Oak Telecom VoxBox Lite

Hi All,

First of, i would like to say Hi to everyone and hope you can help me.

I have just installed a new Voicemail system ....Oak Telecom VoxBox Lite and its becoming a pain in the kneck.

I have setup the phones/desk sets to Call forward Busy to the Voicemail extension. This is working correctly. However when a user calls the DDi or extension and the phone is busy or no answer the call goes to the automated attendant and not the mailbox. So no one can leave a message.

I believe this is due to the wrong DTMF Codes sent from the Toshiba PBX to the Voicemail VoxBox.


The voice mail is programmed with the following DTMF Codes:

Code Received from PBX Operation
======================================
1TTT Leave Meassage
2TTT Retreive Messages

Any ideas, Please, Please Help

P.S. Im a IT Guy and Not a Telecoms Enginer so my knowledge of PBX's is
no, nope, nada, nothing, nitch, squat

You will need to do the ID codes for each phone at the phone.
icm#65691 redial
icm#65792 redial
Are the codes for a Toshiba Stratagy Vmail. That should be something close to what you need also.

I have Tried the following

Press [int]

for Strata DK280 press #656

Press 91

Enter user ID (extsion Number )

Press Redail
Press Spkr

But this didn't resolve this issue. I wish my company wanted to keep the Strategy VoiceMail server it worked so well!!!

If the Voicemail system doesnt like the 91 and 92 you can always use something else that the voicemail recognizes.

After #656 and #657 just enter the codes the new voicemail understands. Most Voicemail systems say they are able to integrate with any system which usually means the codes need to be changed on the phone system side and not the voicemail side. your voicemail seems to just like certain DTMF digits.
