I have a Toshiba DMS RS-TX20 HDD/DVD combo. It writes to DVD-R/DVD-RW; but I get an error message 'SAVING FAILED' when I write from HDD to DVD.

I've tried different brands of DVD's. Sometimes they work; sometimes not.
Most of what I'm writing to DVD are home videos...

the unit is about a year old, purchased at Sears.

Any Suggestions as to what is wrong?

Dont think this has anything to do with a Toshiba Telephone system but I had a issue with CDRW writers using the wrong size CD. Maybe this will help
