Question Strata DK 424i I Help??

I aquired a site the has a Toshiba Strata and from what I can tell from the cards it is a DK424i. Old phone vendor programmed with a laptop using DKADMIN I think and I do not have that program. I have most of the programs for other systems but not this one. If someone wants to trade a copy of something tell me.

Anyway question I looked in the Manual and it say's from a phone to program you have to enter *#*#1*2*3 it think that was in from I'm thinking the main phone in this case 200. I can punch those keys tell I'm blue in the face and all it does it look at me and smile and call me stupid. What am I doing wrong

Second can an external ringer be hooked to this beast?

Third I have lets say 214 as the phone that the reception sends the call to and what she send that call to that number 215, 218, 240 ring also I want to add a phone to that group. I'm thinking a hunt group and department group.

I'm a Nortel, Meridian, ESI, Vodavi, Comdial, Panisonic, Avaya guy not a Toshiba guy

Sorry for all the questions

Thanks
William

Hey William,

Welcome to the site,

You have come to the right place, SSPhone is king of the Strata!

Good luck on your system and we could use someone with some knowledge of these other smaller systems, Hope you stick around a while.

first of all you program from x205 do what the book said and it will let you in, secondly regarding the ringing, you can wire an exernal ringer to an analog port, see if the sytem has a PSTU, RSTU or PEPU.
Lastly if you have a R3 or higher process (if its an i then you do) you can do somthing Nortel only dreams of, phantom extensions and more importantly secondary message waiting keys, with phantoms you can create virtual transfers and multiple attendents or companies. If you need more help I might be willing to trade some time for a BCM issue I am having.

regards
