Emagen Issue

When the emagen call screening functionality is enabled, if the user does not pick up the call the system prompt to enter a new extension or stay on the line to leave a message. If you stay on the line you here the message beep to leave a message, but the mb greeting is not played. Is ther any way to make the greeting play>

Is the department that this mailbox is in set for full or blind transfer. Also what release level is the EmaGen? Is the call forwarding set on the phone?

the cos for the mailbox i have tried with both blind and full with no help.
No forwarding is set up.

Not sure how to check the emagen version, A1 info is

with telnet just below 7) A1 info. find verify installation. If 10.2.XX you can upgrade to 10.3.11 should resolve the issues. Contact you Telrad dealer for the upgrade software.

system is 10.2.13
Do I need to upgrade the telrad box before uograding to 10.3.11
I know there was a max upgrade on the emagen system before I needed to upgrade the keybx system.

Was this a Known issue with 10.2.13?

10.3.11 can be used on Rel 7.36 upto the latest e2e-3. Telrad put out a Tech bulliten that all 10.2 should be upgraded at the time to 10.3.8 now they are upto 10.3.11. It will take a few hours to do the upgrade but the new web manager is very user friendly now and it does correct the issues like forwarding, screening and user options.
