I run a home-based based with a remote partner. Want a system so that clients can call main number and key in either me or my partner. If me, and I'm not there the call goes to voicemail. If my partner, the call is forwarded to his number. If he's not there then voicemail. Any suggestions?

What are you looking to spend and are those the only features you need/want?

There are a lot of systems that can do that but your budget, how many people are going to use it and features, will help determine the best system to go with.

No more than 5 users at any one time. These are critical features, but I'm open to learn about others that I could use

Also you didn't mention what your budget is. I could recommend a $500 unit or a $5000

It would be helpful for us to give as much info as possible. This allows us to narrow down systems that we think may help you but may be out of your price range or may not have the feature sets your looking for.

Most small business telephone systems would fit your description. Such as a Norstar, Lucent Partner, even NEC or Panasonic.

We have been working on something at PBXINFO for the past few months, one of the reasons why everything seems to have slowed down. You may want to test drive a new feature we will be making availble to the public soon.

Let me know if you would be interested. This goes for anyone looking for a new or used phone system. PBxinfo still does not sell or resell phone systems.
