I am looking for alternatives for our current AA/RVA setups. I am currently using MIVA cards but am finding these to be limited and very time consuming in creating menus. I have a number of departments that are divided up into 2-4 separate areas and they need to be able to filter the calls to the correct area. This is for a large Hospital so it needs to be very reliable. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think I have found a new solution for my AA/RVA problem.
Have spoken to a vendor and have also seen two Sales Managers from Interalia (one who was from Interalia - Canada).

I am getting some pricing on the XMU+ with message manager and Admin software.

http://www.interalia.com/index.html

Has anybody had any dealings with these guys?

I use an interalia XMU for intercept on an ACD system...
I must say it's easy to work with and has been very reliable.
I have not used mine for the same application you're looking at..
so can't speak to that.

Cheers Ron,
I will be using it in a similar manner to an ACD, one department is already setup with an ACD but using the MIVA cards to create more options is not viable.

I have the XMU with a M81C switch as a RAN announcer. Only had one problem in 5 years (the backup battery died) - it's a good product and very easy to program..

A good progam to get with XMU is Goldwave (do a search for a shareware version on cnet). Goldwave allows you to add background music to the recordings - presenting an 'almost' seamless transistion from recording to recording...

From what I've heard (Never had to use it) the customer response from Interalia is top notch.

Post back if you have any questions..
