I'm wondering if through the wisdom of crowds you can point me in the right direction.

I'm looking to have a PBX system capture a voice message and save it as an .mp3

more specifically. In my web application I'm wanting the end user to click a button 'call me' at which time he/she will enter in a phone number and the PBX backend system will call them and capture a 60 second recording of their voice message. I'm guessing through our Linux based machine, we can then attach that users .mp3 file to variables we setup like
+ user ID 86
+ event ID
+ page ID
and then our web app would know to attach that file's .mp3 file to a play button.

I know this is possible, because there is a company doing it.

I'd like to find out if its possible, what is needed and possibly find a tech person to set it up for me..
