Does anyone out there have any experience of the Archibus Facilities Management programme to manage site cabling etc.? It seems to be able to combine an Excel type database with CAD drawings.

Is it worth investigating?
Is there anywhere I can get hold of a shareware or freeware version to play with?

I went to the Archibus Website and there was quite a bit of info on the product, although I did not see a demo version. Here is a link on the Telecomunications & Cabel Managment, it is in PDF format:

Right as I was about to close out of the Archibus site I did see some type of test drive think for the Web version, it may have more features than just the cable management stuff:

I thought I had browsed their site, but I missed the demo.

Looks interesting, and may be worth following up.. BUT

Does anyone out there actually use it? Does it do the job?
