Has anyone thought of a way to setup a mobile phone to be a trunk port? I'm thinking that with the unlimited mobile to mobile options it would make sense to have mobile phone trunk ports so you can change your ARS routes to funnel any calls to a verizon exchange over the cell lines to better manage airtime charges..... Anyone know of such a product? Steve

Location: Netherlands Rep Power: 5 ![]() | do you mean a gsm dialer? We use them often. You need an TN2198 BRI trunk board and a gsm dialer. Configure your trunk and route patterns to use the dialer. I dont think that you need to change your ARS for this one but rather your partition-routing-tables and route lists. If you want i can give you specific product information about the dialers. Dont make a mistake to use a TN 556 because thats a BRI line board that you can trunk. But on that way your dialer will work as a gateway so it will not go through ARS
