Does anybody know anything about Samsung iDCS 100. I'd like to be able to configure it through my computer. I have the software for it but not really sure how to connect to it. It have a Serial port (male) just like on the PC.
Any help/information is appreciated.

Send a message via MSN to VViper
depending on Cards installed you can connect Via RS232 or if their is a LAN card you can connect via ethernet.

From the programming or PCMMC you can access the entire system providing you have the tech passcode which by default is 4321.

Sometime a tech can restrict access to the MMC that a customer can connect to. hope that helps.

I know this is old but just buy a female to female serial cable and put a null modem adapter on it.

Works fine
