please help me

Hi,

I am looking for PBX that has -48VDC internal lines. Current one we use and few more I looked at are either 24 or 26, which is not good enough.

If you know any brand model that has -48VDC internal line current feed, let me know, please.

Thanks!!!

why would you need pbx lines to carry 48 vdc?
What are you trying to do?

RE: Fay

NEC has cards that generate 48VDC. The standard cards are 24VDC, but the long line cards generate 48VDC.

Thanks.

The Siemens Hicom 300 is -48vDC system from battery feed to shelf power supply to line voltage.

The Alcatel 4400 is also a -48vDC system.

Not sure why you specifically want a -48v system over 24v system.

well, I tried our VoIP gateway on 3 different PBX and none of them seems to work (all are 24 vdc lines). VoIP gear manufacture says it is because our pbx is not 48 vdc, we can not use it. I tested on PSTN line from telecom and it worked fine. So it looks like manufacturer is right. I don’t mind getting second small PBX for VoIP, but it has to be 48VDC.

Thanks to all and I will look at the equipment you have mentioned.

Newpbx,

Not sure what it is your working with, but as for most good VOIP on the market there is more than oneway to link to pbx other than a -48vdc circuit. The NEC products have good VOIP builtin and will also provide PBX funcitionality.
