Broadband Over Power....Interesting Developments

Can this system function without CO lines to make intercom calls using rotary phones? It's been a while since I even SAW one of them and it's probably going to be impossible to locate one in the 21'st century...

1A2 phone system

You would need a ValCom intercom system and 18V buzzers...

You'd connect (let's say) IC 11 from the Valcom system to (say) the 4th line "Red Brown/Brown Red" and connect the buzzing pair for the Valcom to "Yellow Orange/Orange Yellow.

Next you would need to connect the Control Pair (A/A1) from the Valcom to "Red Slate/Slate Red".

Next connect the Lamp pair (LG/Lamp) and yes the Lamp Ground is connected first to "Black Blue/Blue Black".

Do the same for the other set. Then press Line 4, the A/A1 switch will make (make/break swithc), your lamp will lite, you'll receive Intercom Tone. Dial the other sets IC number and the buzzer will sound..

That's from memory so don't hold me to the pairs...
