Location: Tennessee Rep Power: 0 ![]() | dbs phones VB-43XXX vs VX-43XXX We have a Nortel SL-100 implemented in a large healthcare citywide environment. I would like to find some type of mac activity/trouble reporting management software for our help desk. Does anyone have any suggestions or examples for a software application we could purchase? | ||||||||

Location: NJ Rep Power: 5 ![]() | We need SL-100 mac/trouble reporting management software I used to be a SL100 TSE a few years ago. Ican't seem to recall what software we used, but if I figured it out I'll post it. in the mean-time, you should contact Nortel and ask what some other facilities are using for the MAC's. Maybe they can give you actual site names with some contact info. | ||||||||

Location: Tennessee Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks Capital. I can run it up the chain at Nortel again but they have not been able to shed much light on it up to this point. I think it depends on who you talk to like everything else. I was hoping to get lucky here and get a quick lead. We are looking for a tool where you can log trouble calls and use it for a dispatch tool running on a LAN. I have heard of a program called Majic but am unsure who exactly is the manufacturer. I also have heard talk of a program called switchview but I believe it is a switch management tool and is costly. | ||||||||

We purchased the package where I was working previously but left before we implemented it. It is pretty expensive but has quite a few modules. Trouble/Mac tickets, GUI interface to servord, cable management, Inventory management & ALI interface for 911 applications. System also has a module for SMDR/billing. System is a client/server app, with the server running on Win2000 & Oracle. | ||||||||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'M a SL-100 TSE currently working with a program call netplus6 the help desk personal will put a trouble ticket in and i will get a email that my basket has a trouble ticket or mac work it will also work with the outside techs computer if he has acces to the internet | ||||||||
