RE:

I wonder if anyone would like to express their opinions on the Aspect systems...

Kind of hard to find forums with ASPECT as a topic

I've never used or have seen Aspect in service, but the company has been around for a while and is healthy - that's a good indicator.

Aspect mostly deals with Call Center and CTI technology - Are you interested in Call Center applications or are you looking for a PBX system?

What exactly are you looking for?
Do you have a current call center and just looking to upgrade?

Post up your requirements or your set up.

BTW- We(PBXINFO) doesn't sell PBX's or Call Center system. We just try to provide information where we can.

Pbxinfo's Cisco Portal Now Open!

Comapny I work for is changing all of our systems to Aspect...

The 2 call centers I take care of are going from Symposium/Meridian to the Aspect systems... (one is already active on Aspect and the other is installed just not online yet)

Enterprise system uses ICM for routing to 13 call-centers across country...

I was just curious what if/any opinions where held on it...

There are positives and negatives to everything - I guess I wanted to hear real world opinions instead of the opinion Aspect Sales People (you know salespeople, their product is the best thing since sliced bread, and all other systems are only good for anchors)

ASPECT is very expensive, Parts, services, be careful of added costs for any screen pops or IVR programming they do.
Very high Maintenance cost
Weak VIOP, Nortel VOIP phone much stronger

Aspect was big at one time, but has lost a lot of ground to Avaya , Nortel

Hello rparker, you had nentioned that you have Aspect ACD experience. I will need to begin research and installation of aspect ACD to an Avaya G3.
Can you provide me with some insight? Any information you could give would be extremely helpful.

Thanks in advance

Aspect is proving not to be realiable with support issues starting with implementation. We have been told repeatly that they have 2000 in the field so they know what they are doing which has not been proven to be true from our point of view. Their documentation and their technical support do not agree on how it is to be set up. Be prepared for them to always tell you that the issue was caused by you not them. Ours is a new install only 6 months old and it still is not fully functional. Like they say buyer beware.
