Can you tell me how to program conferencing on an analog telehone besides C6A. I did that to do long distance conference, however after the 1st caller, I just got busy tone and I could not connect to the second person. Any assistance will be appreciated please

I am assuming you are talking about a Meridian PBX.

You can post questions related to the Meridian PBX on the Nortel Portal

To answer this question. In the Administration Guide Go to Load 10 and look at the Features for CLS

Quote:
C6D) Six-Party Conference Denied basic-10
C6A Six-Party Conference Allowed
C6A requires Transfer Allowed (XFA) Class of Service.
Hope that helps.

I already have xfa and c6a allowed in the cls but for some reason I cant understand how when there is three long distance calls, like New York, Gorgia and Canada, it does not work, you just get a busy tone. Is there something configuration I have to change?

When do you get busy tone?
After the 1st,2nd or 3rd caller?

How are you initiating the conference calls?
