Created a Call Pilot Section under Nortel

Well, it that time of year, the holidays, good cheer, love of your fellow man, stocking hung by the fire with care, layoffs......

contractor pete will be a telcom contractor no more after Dec 31st, execs always pick the best time of year to fuck with people don't they.

at least I was the lucky one, out of about 100 people I was the only one who wasn't escorted out of the building immediately.......

Keep on eye on www.turtlearmor.com I think it might be time for a career change, this has happend far too many times to far too many people

Man! This is like the jinx of the PBXINFO administrators. First TP, next Gabe is demoted, now you, Pete. :eek2:

If you don't mind living among sheep I'll keep my ear to the ground in Canada.

All the best!!

TRADING POST???

bunch of exec bastards....they laid me off from my tech support job and are relocating me to the field...doing I&R on these things....

should be good experience...but they called me and told me the same morning that my wife had our new baby,...

what kind of timing is that?

Looking for the Best Small Office System

Congrats on the newborn Gab!!

They all seem to be still downsizing. The market is flooded with Techs, but no jobs to fill. You can get some contract work, but that is about it. That is what I am doing starting January. I also get let go at the end of the month.

Good luck to all and have a Happy Holidays!!

Host/remote CDP setup

I've been unemployed for a year now and I was doing contract work, even that has dried up. My unemployment ran out Dec 28 because they didn't extend it before congress left for the year. Had 3 phone interviews with one company and Jan 6 I do a face to face with them, I hope I get this job.
