I am trying to connect to an Active Voice Lingo 2 without any luck, I can connect to a Lingo 1 with a null RS232 cable and the standard user name and password.

Anyone know if there is something special about the null cable, I have tried crossover on CTS/RST and DTR/DSR etc all at different speeds including what it should be 19200,N,8,1 RTS/CTS in Cosession 7.

what error do you get? only thing i can think of apart from the username/password (which you seem to have checked) is that the CoSession host has shut down. I am pretty sure you would have restarted the Lingo 2.

hmm ... dunno what else, but i'll have a look around. Let us know if you manage to fix it.

I have tried all different configs of null cables , dtr - dsr, cts rts and a mixture of all in between using dcd as well.

It has been reset several times and I can use the cosession on lingo 1 systems and dial up into others all using the same passwords and settings.
