more specificity

Ok here is the question I have. Say for instance if i have one phone line running into my office and I would like to have 3 more lines or phones installed but don't want to get additional numbers, can I purchase a type of PBX that allows say 4 users to use the same line at the same time to conduct buisness or do I need to get something like a T1 and have a couple lines incoming into the office?

PBX Install

A small key system would work (Executone, Merlin, etc.)

RE:

You don't need a T1

There are systems you can buy that are for much smaller scale business. There is something called an Option 11 mini or a Northstar. You can put in a T1 later and it'll support up to 48 users. Or you can go with a unversal trunck card feature and get up to 8 trunks in to it that way. This way you can get on as many users as you have trunks.

I don't know if they are still being manufactured. You may have to buy a used one. It might even come bundled with a voice mail system.

But even for a 1 line business going on 3 that maybe more than you need
