I've been tasked with replacing our Partner ACS system with a new phone system. I'm at the end of my search (I think), but I just found this site. I've looked at a bunch of systems, but have narrowed it down to two:

NEC Aspire
Intertel Axxess

We have one location, approx. 30 phones (possibly expanding to 40 by the end of the year). Our budget is in the 10K to 15K range. I've also looked at Avaya, Win, Iwatsu.

Any advice about the two above (or any others)?

Thanks

Hitachi circuit cards for sale!

You would do well to look at the Nortel Norstar. By far the best system on the market. More phones in service worldwide that any other brand. Convinent upgrade path, evergreen policy from Nortel. Where are you located???

Do a Norstar (by Nortel) why you ask??

Because everyone works on them . If your vendor is a pain you could always go some where else. And they are very easy to work on.

I have not looked at Nortel. I was under the impression that the system may be a bit too much for us (price). We are located in Phoenix. I just visited the Intertel corporate offices today and am leaning a bit towards the Axxess system. It seems to be a positive factor having the company located in the same city.

I like the NEC system too, but the price is a bit more.

Thanks for the help. I see what I can find out about Norstar

You are at Intertels doorstep.....It pays down the road to stick with them....Although I have not kept up with the new stuff I understand that they have an AWARD WINNING VOIP software....

Be sure and listen to Mitch (AKA Barbie) Seriously, if you poll most of the folks on this site you will find Nortel products used by most. Why so you think they have a separate portel just for Nortel???
