| Toll Restriction Tip Hi Guys, looking for information on Interactive Intelligence Incorporated systems. Anyone know if their is a remote maintenance modem option on thier Enterprise interaction Center VoIp pbx? Wondering specifically about security vulnerabilites. i know server is windows based and may be running IIS & exchange, but are there any other known way's to get at this system except through LAN connection? | ||||||||

Location: Arizona Rep Power: 6 ![]() | AT&T / Avaya System 25 AASR3 There is, indeed, a remote maintenance modem option for access into the EIC. Security holes are the least of your worries with the I3 EIC server, however. The fact that it crashes 3 to 5 times a week, and that failover to a redundant system usually fails as well, should be your greatest concern. If you're going to use EIC as the administrative phone system for a small to mid-sized company, you'll be ok. If, however, the EIC is going to be the system that your revenue generating calls come in on, you'll be out of business within a year. | ||||||||
