Hi Guys, looking for information on Interactive Intelligence Incorporated systems. Anyone know if their is a remote maintenance modem option on thier Enterprise interaction Center VoIp pbx?

Wondering specifically about security vulnerabilites. i know server is windows based and may be running IIS & exchange, but are there any other known way's to get at this system except through LAN connection?

There is, indeed, a remote maintenance modem option for access into the EIC. Security holes are the least of your worries with the I3 EIC server, however. The fact that it crashes 3 to 5 times a week, and that failover to a redundant system usually fails as well, should be your greatest concern.

If you're going to use EIC as the administrative phone system for a small to mid-sized company, you'll be ok. If, however, the EIC is going to be the system that your revenue generating calls come in on, you'll be out of business within a year.

Thanks, that's very interesting. I was doing some testing on one and needed the info. I'll be interested to see what reliability feedback I get from the company using this.

I3 is the biggest piece of crap Ive seen in a while. My company was a dealer for a few years and finally dumped them because there product and support sucks.
