Can someone help me setup my T1 cards to the Rightfax application? I need to know what I need my DS1 cards set as and also, do I have to set-up a hunt group or trunk group for this application? Do I have to list all the fax numbers in a hunt group so that the PBX will know when a call comes in for a fax machine, it will send it over to the RightFax application?

Thanks!!
Barbara

first off.

Right fax isn't the issue it's the PRI interface card usually Brooktrout. For both sending and receivine faxes you must use QSIG protocol if you are providing the PRI of off the Avaya PBX. The Brooktrout card must have the latest firmware loaded. I never seen that come right the first time. I alway had to download the firmware. You have to ask your vendor if they ever install it directly to a PBX. Mine didn't and the couldn't figure it out. I had to. You need to contact Who ever is providing the PRI interface card and work with them.,
