Here is some they have suggested. What do you think?
SR telephony systems administrator
SR Telecom Analyst

I told them I like SR Telecom Systems Administrator (Lord of the Rings)

i'd say go with the Analyst...it sounds like you get more $$ for that title (on a resume)
People still look at the word Admin and associtate it with Secretary.

Intreresting... because most people on this site would seem better off seeing an analyst rather that being one!

So based on the job what title would you think is best? Oh and I am a one man shop. So besides dumb a@@ for taking on all this what is a good title? Thanks again for all your feedback.
Excluding cell phones, we have the same job and title. Except I have a lot more PBXs and KSUs out 'n about.

It is currently in production. I am calling it "SD Live, Wired and Unplugged".

In addition to "Lord of the Rings" it will have tracks like...

"Alice's PBX"
"Dust in the Shelf"
"Puff the Magic Tech Support"
"Smoke on the IPE"
"House of the Rising Nortel"
"Wild Tech"
"Eve of SYS INI"
"Hotel Verizon"
"Lucy in the Sky with VoIP"

and many, many more!

You guys crack me up. I wish I had looked for and found this page a long time ago.

My job title is EEC for electronic equipment craftsman and for job classification reasons won't be changed. I run what we call the telecommunications center and babysit several microwave and SONET backbones, a lot of data terminal and remote SCADA terminal equipment and several digital cross connect systems (DACS). Oh, and the reason I am here at pbxinfo, configure and maintain two ROLM CBX nodes with about 600 local and 400 OPX lines scattered around 4 states. And a phonemail node.

Usually around the HQ building I am referred to as the phone guy. I also get to pull a lot of level 5 since contracting/construction usually forgets all about telephone/network connections when rearranging cubicles or walls. Most people don't realize phones are just part of my job and think I am hiding from them.

I am not a PBX tech by trade and am still learning and quite frankly the switches sometimes scare me when they get a headache. So I need help from time to time.

I love Lord of the Rings. Any thoughts on a really good unofficial title for me? Besides whiner.

DS_WILSON - where might I find your CD for purchase?
