Location: Vancouver BC Canada Rep Power: 0 ![]() | We upgraded our PBX this year (Feb 03) to a Nortel option 11C release 25.40. Our voice mail system is from Mitel, which we purchased in 1996. The voicemail is at it's "end of life" and Mitel will not support it until we upgrade to a current version. I'm wonderinig if we would be better off to upgade with Mitel or purchase CallPilot or something comparable. Any thoughts or suggestions to help me with my research would be appreciated.

VW car gets VW parts 1880s house gets 1880s fixtures Nortel PBX gets Nortel VM system... SO...for my $.02, and if money's not a consern, you can do far worse than going to a new Call Pilot. __________________ You can't wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you - Look, if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor, just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

The price is quite a bit more "up front" but it is starting to look like to setup any advanced features like ACD queues with Mitel would mean purchasing additional "stuff" (interallia) with CallPilot no additional equipment is required.

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | All aboard for the Call Pilot. Depending on the size of the switch, I would go with a Call Pilot mini. Very easy to install and maintain. It did top out at 200 mailboxes, but I think the new version of software will go to 400.
