Avaya Question

I am running an Avaya G5 system and still not totally familiar with all it functions. I got a call from a user asking if i was possible to forward a voice mail to another extension that is on our Cisco IP system, and not the PBX. Does anyone know? I'm under the assumption that it can't be done since they are 2 different systems.

I dont think this is a possibility with any system unless you could get into the code of each voicemail system. I don't think the manufacturers are going to just hand that over to anyone.

Probably not, but before I say for sure I need to know something about your Avaya sysyem.

What is the software release of the Avaya G3?

What is the voice mail system you are using on the Avaya PBX and the software release of it?

Is it already connected to the Cisco system or are they completely separated and stand alone?
