That will take you to a excellant site that will teach you some info about IP.
the basic's are a must....

already took my ccna test..........
the books are ok......the best way to learn ip/subnetting, is to buy 2 used cisco routers and set them up in your place and teach yourself......

invest about a thousand dollars and you can be on your way.....

Thre is a lot more to IP telephones then just ip subnets. A discussion of IP network design as it relates to QOS, high-availability, scaling and audio protocols may be a good addition.
