Stupid Question?

What the heck is the differnece between the Partner Messaging V1
and Partner Mail 3.0

I know that PM is a pc that can mount on the wall, but I read that v3 was released in 1996... thats a thousand years in the phone biz.

Im not a big fan of the VS, I installed 4 and 2 went bad under warranty

Ok, the Partner Mail is the wall mountable unit...kinda looks like a PC without a monitor and keyboard and is, at least in my opinion, old and obsolete. Now the Partner Messaging can come in 2, 4, or 6 ports and is basically just like the Partner Mail VS. only it has the "record a call" feature, 4 attendants, and supports centrex transfers. If ya want, I can fax ya a copy of the brochure.

Need a little help ...Oh great ones..

That's kinda funny...I got about 30 or 40 PMVS or so out in the field and have never had any trouble out of them with the exception of the occasional lightning hit. Ohhh and I found 1 with a bad hard drive in it once. I always thought they were pretty decent mail systems for small businesses.

Make key unable to dial out?

The Partner VS5 also supports Record A Call the Partner Messaging unit has a Directory List, and 99 sub menus, Is very feature rich compared to the VS family. I to have not had any problems with the Partner mails

It will take up a slot.
