What do you guys use/have? How do you like it?

I just orderd a Ipod shuffle, they had a special on Best Buy where you get a free set of speakers and shipping was free. I also had a gift card. I had a 10 Gig Ipod back when they first were coming out and that sucker felt like a huge hard drive that I was carrying around. I wanted something light and easy to take with me jogging and such?

My mobile phone (SPV550) has a 1Gb card in it and will quite happily play MP3's so I just use that when I want some music. My last phone had a radio built in (Nokia 8310) and I now miss that feature.

Same subject, slightly different topic - Since the aftermarket started making MP3 headunits for cars a few years ago (5 -6 I think) I was expecting a lot of the OEMs to follow through - today I still don't see this being offered on very many cars. Personnaly I would rather they 86 the disc changers and just give me one disc with MP3 capability in my car - no reason they can't do it if they have the processing power to run the Nav system and all the fancy touch screen controls.

Be even cooler to have one of those multi memory stick interfaces in a car headunit like they have on new laptops - just plug in the memory stick and play away. I don't like having wires and 'extra' crap all over the place inside my car just to play tunes.

That would be neat, even a USB drive plug in, move your music around, have a built in harddrive to burn music from XM

I think the OEMs expect us to go to the aftermarket if we want the extra bling - the issue comes when they integrate the radio / CD player into the Nav system and climate control - there isn't (at least not an affordable) aftermarket drop in head unit that does all of that plus the extra features for every type of car out there.

Must be nice!

Well I got my 512MB shuffle, wow, little dissappointed... its just a USB flash drive! Oh well it seems to work good though.

Only problem is that I have about 50 songs on Music Jukebox that are WMA protected files and I-Tunes won't convert them. Will Ipod work on MMJB? Anyone know how I can crack them to work with I-Tunes?

I have a Pocket PC Phone Edition with a 1 GB card (the maximum in microSD format for now) and MortPlayer, and a Yakumo Hypersound Car (USB, SD & Ogg Vorbis support) in my car.
Satisfied of both, although the audio quality of the Yakumo is a bit on the bad side, but I don't care that much when it's in a car.
