PBX again or true CO system?

After I died as a Meridian 1 support especialist. I am now resurrected as NEAX PBX Tech. And currently handling a NEAX 7400 ICS, which serve as a Central Office to a port area, that is not serviced by the local telco. Since this place was declared a Free Trade Zone, suddenly, it was swarmed by small company requiring 4 to 10 POTS lines. Some of this analog lines are also fed by this company to their PBX. Originally this NEAX 7400 ICS was only equipped for 100 extensions and 20 CO trunk lines. Now it has grown into a 2000 DID extensions with 15 ISDN PRI trunk system.

Due to customer demands (caller ID to their PBX, E1/ISDN connections, etc.) my higher ups is hinting to change the system. They have scheduled a meeting with me this first week of July. When this day came, I would like to push for a true CO system. My problems are: I don't know what CO equipment to press on. How can I convince them that some of the customer requirements can only be meet by CO system. To sum up, I don't know how and what to talk to. This is where I need your help and suggestion, my fellow Tech...

CO guys, I need your sells pitch regarding this matter. Thanks and regards to everybody,

lhb

Hey LHB, Sounds like you got a big decision, I think it makes sense to get the right tool for the job. Getting a CO vs another PBX sounds like where you want to head.
