Well i brought it home and after a few messages on some other forums, i got some phones to play with. Well after d/l manuals, i got it programmed and found out when a pots line is plugged into jack "a" the system rings constantly. when plugged into "b" "c" or "d" the system works fine. first of any ideas what to look for as far as repairing this problem? I am a Ham Operator and a Broadcast Engineer, so i am pretty handy with a soldering iron and i can read a schematic, which comes to my other question. any one have a schematic and service manual for this phone system? I would also be glad to offer shipping on any old Merlin 410 equip. you may have lying around that you would like out of your hair I'm not out to do anything other than toy around with this thing. I think it has an 80's retro coolness to it. Edit/Delete Message

I own a part 15 am broadcast station. legal unlicensed. from mic to transmitter everything is broadcast service gear. and the whole purpose is to learn the inner workings of broadcasting. i am using the phone stuff to learn how they work. I am also a licensed ham. i am on dissability so i have loads of time while the wife is at work to just tinker away
