Location: Sterling, Virginia; USA Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I am a recently aquired addition to Black Box. I worked for TSM, Inc and we were bought out by Black Box in April of 2005. Everyone from TSM remained, and the day to day stuff didn't change. The techs still had to make service calls, remote maintenance still needed to be done, etc. The admin and sales people had to make some software changes and everyone had some growing pains with the new policies (re-adding children to insurance policies, fixing 401K allotment, etc.). All in all the only thing that changed was the name; hopefully, your transition will be as smooth as ours.

Rep Power: 39 ![]() | I have been a contractor for BlackBox for years. And from what I've seen, nothing changes at the company that is bought out. The majority of these companies remain their own company, just under the BlackBox umbrella. The only problem that I have run into, is that since each compamy writes their own services orders, there is little communication between the other BlackBox offices. I have been on a walkthru for one BlackBox office and there were 2 other BlackBox contractors there for the same bid. Overall though, I have no complaints about the company.
