For all you PBX techs out there. You guys can make so much money on providing some kind of training course on PBX. Example a company in Portland, OR are providing such a course and they are making a fortune. The only problem they are in the west coast. If you do a search, you will not find any course on PBX in the east coast except from global knowlege. They teach Nortel. No one teches Avaya in the Northeast. There is a market for it.

Theres a company called Summaria Networks who offers Lucent courses and they are nation wide.

Not to say that there isn't some money to be made if you wanted to sling your own shingle and share your experinces....I know of at least one company who did this and seems to be doing quite well.

sjforcum, Thanks for the reply. I am looking for training in the east coast, hopefully N.Y.. Can you send me more info on Summaria Networks. Have you ever thought of training?

Nortel has a training site in NJ....also in texas and Calif.

Unless a person is Certified in Teaching the class what is the use. I know a lot of really good techs that could do a great job instructing but they have no instructing background.... If some one goes through the process of taking a class they alsio want to get certified.
